I'd be curious as to the stats for how much coordinated gang-purchasing has increased. Seems like most people I know get into pools now with an "everybody try to get tickets for all of us" mantra and a skype call/chat.

Just like any good competition/event - it's great to be there live with a crowd of like minded 'fans' that react as things happen. I still know some people that would rather go play the (now available) tournament games than sit and watch; but I really enjoy the live final.

There are till use-cases for more than 2. Had I been trying to go this year, I likely would have been trying to get 3 for the family. The general line has always been "almost nobody does big purchases of 5 anyway" - but now that it's turned into this crazy coordinated group-buy war-room situation, that's not really true anymore, I'd wager.

I'm guessing they're not making short stay money RIGHT NOW and are switching to more long term lease occupants to save their ass.

Didn't plan on going this year, so I wasn't even on the wait list. Want to go next year; wait list is being maintained. Doh! /hops on that behind everybody else
