Hotels are already getting booked from what I see... Are there any fellow Pinsiders who would share an hotel room with me ? Obviously I'll pay my share. I'm a non-smoker, I don't do drugs, mid-thirties, married with children (but I come alone), and can bring some french food/beverage if the airport security let me go through with them
Mark mentionned in another thread there might be shuttles from the hotels to the PAPA facility this year: is it confirmed ? If not, again are there any Pinsiders who would carpool me ?

Lastly, how late finish the after-party usually ? (to know if I need to book a last night at the hotel or not, if I get a very early flight)

After party usually goes through the night - 3am, last man standing - could be later, but after 3 days of pinball I usually start to fade pretty quick.

I'm staying at the knights inn which is nice and super super cheap and fairly close (5mi), but for some reason not listed on the accomdations page this year! $48 a night or something I think.

Thanks for the tip! I checked it, however ratings on TripAdvisor are not that good :-/
Let's say it will be the plan B, I would prefer to split a $120 room at the Marriot, especially if there are shuttles and everything.

We are expecting to end the finals at around 6pm or earlier, as we did last year. There are flights leaving PIT late Sunday night and we want people to get them if they want to leave.

But why leave... after-party? Gauntlet? Surely you don't want to miss these things.

Also, I thought they were destroying that terrible Knights Inn! We removed the listing from our hotel suggestions due to numerous complaints.

If they are destroying it.. hmm.. I have a booking.. Maybe I should call them...

As a place to sleep, last year it was fine..

edit: cancelled the Knights Inn, switched to the Extended Stay.. added an extra night since I missed out most of sunday last year
