On my friends Pinbot I've noticed when the targets lower and the visor gets raised, most of the time the targets will lower down, then come back up, then go back down again. Once down they will remain there until multiball is over or the game ends (or if it's a multiplayer game, it will go back up if another player hasn't completed the targets)...so for the most part it seems to work ok, but I noticed while playing a different Pinbot that the targets go down and stay down until the appropriate time (instead of the behaviour on my friends game that I described above). I figure there's some switch or something that may need adjustment, but I wanted to ask here so I'll have some ideas when I go over to his house to try to fix it. So, any ideas where to start looking for the trouble-maker?

Thanks!

There are two switches: one that activates when the bank is all the way up and one when it is all the way down. Maybe the down switch is flaky or needs to be adjusted?

I thought the visor works off the other switches on the game once opened.

For example once you open the visor it remains open until 2 balls lock. Then it starts multiball. Visor stays open until ball is locked. Then timer starts for you to collect jackpot by hitting the ramp with the other ball. During this time the visor closes as the timer runs, then opens if the jackpot is collected or timed out and releases captured ball. Stays open until cycle is continued. If you lose a ball and end multiball it will remain open until a switch is registered. Then it will close and start the light sequence.

That's how mine works.

Mine does this same thing (down then up then down). They appear to come to a complete stop just as the sound effect ends so I just assumed it was just the way it ran. I have never seen one that did it another way but I haven't played them all of course.

Thanks for the info, guys! I'll have my friend take a video of its behavior and I'll post it here when I get it. I'm thinking the "down" switch is probably where I'll look first...
