I recently picked up a PinBot machine - amazing machine! But the original topper has not aged as well as I have over the past 30 years - so I just wanted to share my attempt at forming a new one from clear red acrylic.

The new form is a little more 'shapely' than the original - but I think the clear red acrylic really pops!

The original uses foil tape around the edges - for mine I will be using thin aluminum straps to attach the topper (will post pics next week when I have that done!)

Did you just heat gun it to bend in place? size of acrylic sheet?

    The piece I used was 9 1/4" x 29 1/8".

Heat gun did not work for me as the piece was too large, it was also too large to fit in my oven. Im sure this violates many safety standards but I wrapped it in tinfoil and heated it on the BBQ..

Metal strapping arrived today and I was able to quickly finish this project - the metal straps are now holding the acrylic piece to the header through the previous topper holes. Happy with how it turned out! Happy flipping everyone!
