I think there is a trick for building the vortex multiplier quickly. When in multiball, if you get one of the balls into the plunger lane, and then shoot the other ball up the left ramp, you can build the vortex multiplier to 10x by pushing the ball in the plunger lane off the plunger lane switch a bunch of times while the ball that was shot up the left ramp is in transit.
