Wow this looks really nice. I am currently restoring my Pinbot also. Luckily my playfield was in much better shape and only needs a little touch up.

I do have a question for you or anyone else that can help. My Sun insert is scratched up pretty good, looks cloudy. I have a new decal for it but how do I get it back to being clear and shiny? Just time and Novus? or is there a better/easier way?

Also what is the best way to remove the decal stuff that is half gone on the other planets? And once removed should I replace them with some Mylar? or something else?

I am not planning on doing a clear coat so I am hoping there are other options.

Edit: The flash makes the black touchup around the sun look grey but that is because it is still wet. It looks much darker already.
