Thanks, I will report back.
In first pic the green/blue should be solder together.
In the second pic you need to have the clear tubing over the diode leads for insulation.
In your last pic you need to remove the top green/blue wire and put it with the bottom green/blue wire and slide the clear tubing down over the diode.
This should clear your problems.
Quoted from GRUMPY:the green/blue should be solder together.
Done. Working.
I did wire it wrong when that wire came loose (1st pic is from my restoration and how I was going to put it back).
It all make sense now. Gosh am I learning.
I don't even want to think how much you guys are pulling your hair from these noob mistakes.
Thank you guys so much. You are truly a saving kind.
Now let's see how this fucker plays.
Plumonium,
I know this is old but I suddenly started having exactly the same symptoms on my Pin Bot. I read your resolution and thought gee I didn't resolder any wires on that limit switch so how could mine possible be acting up for the same reason. But I thought hey I'll go take a look at the limit switch and damn if one of the blue/green wires wasn't broken lose!!!
So a great big thank you for helping me solve the same problem.
Alan
