I have a Pinbot has been in my family since the late 80's. As of lately I've been messing around with it and trying to fix a few problems. I had a small issue with the batteries where one terminal was corroded. I was able to file and fix. I later installed remote batteries. I have upgraded to led bulbs also. The biggest issue besides some broken plastic is the up ramp that fires often. I have searched for answers and looked at the switches in the visor. They appear to connected correctly and secure. They also respond when I manually move them when testing switches.
I'm questioning the 44 switch underneath the ramp. When I'm in the switch test and manually move the lever, I don't get any response. All other switches register when touched. Could this be my issue?
When the ramp is in the up position and illuminated it is solid. I don't think there is a problem with the catch on the ramp. The plastic next to the lever has been broken forever and from what I can tell that is very common. I would like to get new plastic but also don't want it to get broken. The lever seems loose to me but I don't have any reference.
Thank you for any advice.
