Probably a goofy question, but I'm a total n00b so...
How in the world you keep all of the dismantling organized so you can put it back together? To my n00b eyes, it looks IMPOSSIBLE.

Quoted from NJGecko:Not a goofy question. It scared the daylights out of me the first time I did it.
Long story short, baggies and tape and pictures. The first machine I did, everything went into its own baggie. I must have had dozens of them. Left slingshot, pop bumper, etc. So I had baggies with very focused contents which made it easier. Tape for labeling wires, switches, and solenoids. And pictures. And patience. It's something that takes time. It's not just unscrewing and done. It's hours upon hours of work for the average guy (like me!).
Hmmm... but with so many wires that are connected between, say, a coil and something in the backbox, does that mean you have to pull all the wires out of their bundles and label those? Or do you keep the bundles together? I suppose that since the wires are color-coded, that makes it a little easier?
I've had a similar experience taking laptops apart. It always seemed like the viewpoint for the photo was what I thought a good idea at the time, but I can't seem to see something when I need to review it!
Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:Pop bumper rods deserve a good tumbling after the ultra sonic. They come out nice and shiny and much smoother too. Makes for even better/smoother ball movement. You want anything that touches the ball to be as smooth as possible to keep that ball shiny and your playfield nice and clear
Is this another episode of Heather The Hot Accountant??
