My fully functional Pinbot developed at first what seemed like infrequent dropping of background music, restored when the next ball or so would be launched. This changed over about 6 months of infrequent play to a complete absence of any background music at all, although the sound effects are still working. I tried Music test, but no Music plays.
I'm looking for ideas as to where to look first, because I don't know where to start.
well, for now I think I "solved" the problem - pulled out one battery, popped it back it (time for a remote board install), and pushed on the connectors to the speech / sound boards, turned it back on, got an adjust failure, got past that, now it works. Whatever. I missed the music, glad it is back.
