Are you using non-ghosting LEDs?

Quoted from dq13:Does anyone have a coil sleeve type and count for the whole game? I found some kit deals (e.g. Marco's) but it doesn't list the counts of each, and I think it would be cheaper if I bought individually.
I know this is an old question, but was wondering if anyone has a list of all the coil sleeves?
Quoted from Impzilla:Here is a list of coils from the manual, I guess you can find the sleeve info from this.[quoted image]
Thanks. That will work
Quoted from Billc479:OK - I'm working on a bad onion - every time I fix something, I find something else broken.
This time, the machine does not sense the ball draining until it does a ball search - once it kicks the ball over toward the right, then it scores the bonus, etc. I've checked the switch several times using the ball - The switch closes fine, and was checked with a meter. I'm not sure where to go next. I've checked the relays on the little circuit boards under the playfield, no cold/cracked solder joints, and the wires to the board are solid and look good.
Ideas? Thanks for looking.
(Up next will be the flashers - all the sand resistors are good, ohm out fine, and are solidly connected to the circuit boards.)
Did you resolve this?
You should also check the Visor Open (47) and Closed(46) switches.
I had an issue where the machine was having trouble knowing when balls were draining and that was the problem
One needs to be open when the other is closed.
I'm in the middle of a restoration. Anyone have a PDF of all the stickers, preferably on one sheet?
I found this:
http://www.pinballrebel.com/pinball/cards/
but they are all separate, which drives up the cost of printing
thanks
anyone have an easy solution to get some power to LEDs in the cabinet? I want to add LED light up flipper buttons and a 12v LED start button.

I think I answered my own question - coin door GI lighting
That should work
I just finished up a playfield swap and complete restore. Everything was working fine before this.
I'm having this weird issue where the Pops and slings seem to work intermittently. They'll start working, but then in the middle of a game, they all decide to stop working.
I reflowed IJ18 & iJ19 - didn't help
When they stop working, they don't register in switch test mode
I did notice Q77 (i think) was replaced in the past
any thoughts?
All the switches go out together. then they all start working again
Plus I just cleaned everything during the swap
Quoted from GRUMPY:The ground for all the special solenoid switches starts at the power supply. It's the large top connector. Check the back of the header pins for cracked solder joints.
Pretty sure that was the issue. Seems to be working now. Thanks

1. Just swapping out the speakers won't do much. In my opinion, you will need to drop in an amp if you really want to upgrade the sound. I don't think it's worth it on this pin.
2.LEDs are great for this pin. I put new LED throughout the pin. Just be careful no going to crazy with colors in the backbox, or it washes out all the color.
3. yes to LED flashers. simple conversion. just cut the warming resistor (can send pics if you need help)
4. I didn't do any of this. I did add LED pop bumper covers. they really look great on this pin. I also added LED star posts. This really lights up the playfield. I'll try and see if I can capture a good pic
5. I haven't changed the ROM. May do this upgrade. People seem to love it.
6. If you haven't, you need to clean your drops. Replace the coil sleeve. Inspect all the parts for any wear.
Enjoy
Quoted from kciaccio:Can I ask what LED pop caps you went with?
pop bumper rings from comet

red/cool white
LED flashers are very bright. But I also replaced the domes with red and blue ones. Honestly, they look great in my opinion.
Game went from dull and dark, to bright and crisp!
Here’s some pics. Not easy taking pictures of lights.

Then just solder to your GI lights
https://www.pinballlife.com/search.html?Search=Star%20post%20led
Comet also sells them with a matrix connector for those that don’t want to solder
For Pinbot I just wired them directly to the nearest GI. No adjustment needed. I was doing a playfield swap so I had everything apart and was easy to do.
I’ve used them in another game. That time I used the matrix ones. With the matrix ones you can add the inline adjustment piece. It’s really not needed.
