I own Pinbot and Bride. I want a Jackbot, but the added casino theme was a negative, and really, it is a Bally/WMS 90’s treatment of an 80’s favorite that improved the depth using a gambling paradigm.
I bought my Bride because it was new, seemingly harder, and more fun than a Pinbot at the time. My recommendation for the 3 machine series is, if you need 1 pin from the series, get a Jackbot. Way deeper than the other two. Shoots better than Bride.
Pinbot- shoot the ramp, complete the chest, start multiball, lock eye, collect Solar Value, rinse, repeat.
Bride- just keep shooting the ramp until it lights billionaire club shot, rinse repeat.
Jackbot- casino run, mega visor... rinse repeat.
If you have a Bride, get the DP 2.0 upgrade if you can find one, it makes Bride more like a Jackbot or a later 90’s pin and deeper. Bride suffers from having to do too much without a mistake to get the billion shot, and then there is luck involved in the spinning wheel awards. It takes 10 shots up the ramp (without loosing a ball once in 2 ball multiball) to get her to spin the wheel and maybe light the billion point shot. She usually always lights it on the first spin, but not 100%... and then a center heart ramp shot to score the billion. She will never give out more than 8 Billion point shot awards, and will give a backdoor billion for a 10 loop combo, but the last billion (to turn her over) would require you to get 20 big wheel 50M awards, or play long enough to score it via points, something that will take some time.
