Hi Gang,

I need to start troubleshooting an issue with my Pinbot Face flashers.

Here’s what I know:
Likely power supply going bad. Errant problems on turn on. Early on after turn on game will reset, randomly shut down and go into attract mode.

Once game warms up it plays normally. Important to note symptoms are worse when my garage is cold.

But as I stated earlier when everything warms up game plays normally except for there are no face flashers during multiball, game turn on or game end.

The top red flashers on the cabinet work OK.

Any ideas where to start?

The face flashers on the back cabinet. They worked a little while ago, no changes/replacements since they last worked.

Yes the 2 flasher bulbs in the center of the back box. They worked at one point, and have not been changed.

So it looks like the face flashers have a dedicated solenoid. Time to open her up and check the bulbs . . . Fingers crossed

Problem resolved and I’d rather not tell you how I fixed the problem . . . but I will say 1251
