Quoted from ForceFlow:

Double Sided Adhesive Foam Mounting Pads/Tape. Most hardware stores and walmart carry them.

Preferably 3m branded as their glues are the best. As well make sure there is no old glue either sticky or dry on either the display or the pc board. If there is you can try 70% or up isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, if that does not work then use goo gone. If the entire old double sided tape is still on you can use a scraper blade to carefully remove. If its on the back of the glass then be gentle sometime with a little effort place it face down on a flat surface and bend up the pc board and scrape with scraper. You can gently bend the display forward to clean and place the foam tape. when putting the screen back make sure the top of it lines up with the top of the pc board.

Quoted from Gogojohnnyquack:

What he said. I did the exact same with mine using alcohol and plastic scraper to remove the old and 3M brand double-sided foam (strongest version available).

What he said x2 you can also use xylene if you really want to take the glue off fast, and yes try to find 3m branded tape for best results.
