Pretty lucky man! Nice shiny new playfield.

Thanks. It need a couple of spots fixed and the clearcoat job on it isn't very good.
I've got to get it addressed somehow.
I hate to say it, but it's a shame you have to send a reproduction playfield out for clearcoat every time.
Your ol playfield looks ten times better than the one I've got! You scored on the cpr playfield! I paid 400 for mine. Believe it or not it plays really well! I had to rebuild the flippers, visor assembly, fixed numerous switches, I still need to replace q74 and q75 to get the bottom pop bumper to work. I love this game!

When I do the playfield swap I'm going to throw my old one up here.

Jeeze, that's the Pinbot that just won't die
Quoted from Plumonium:Being a sci-fi title, I'm setup for natural cool white on mine. It will replace th red/blue setup I had.
Working on this in parallel with a Meteor project. What LEDs did you use for the GI?
Actually, my game is still torn apart but bought 2 SMD frosted from Comet.

I have the same bulbs in my Diner and TZ in warm and sunlight white respectively. They are great and cheap really.
BTW, did you get your playfield touched-up?
I'm done with my paint touch-ups and ready to clearcoat if you been following.

I haven't done it yet. I found a guy to do it for a reasonable price though.
Enjoying your thread.
I'm gathering parts for my restoration now. My visor is junk and badly melted at the rear and my helmet is warped. I've sourced a visor and it's on the way but still looking for the helmet. She plays but my all my displays read wrong which I've attributed to mild battery leakage on the CPU board. The board is now with Chris Hibler getting repaired. The playfield was repainted by an amateur and every line is crooked and looks terrible and not all the damage was repaired. Looks like it was painted while still in the cabinet. I've secured a replacement CPR playfield that was extremely hard to find. They sure have dried up in the last year.
Anyway, my Pinbot was $550 and a five hour drive. Wrapping up on another Pin and hope to start on the Pinbot in August.
Keep up the good work
