    Quoted from o-din:

Ya know, this is when I really miss those picture in picture TVs. What ever happened to that?

You needed a separate tuner or input source. With Fios, Cable, DirecTV each kicking out only one output and people pulling down antennas few people actually can use it anymore so they stopped including the required electronics.

Congrats on the Shark Tank plug.. will Tivo it!

I thought we would see Jack on there before he got the funding..

    Quoted from o-din:

The last one I saw was a huge 35 inch CRT my dad left behind when he passed away. That was one heavy sucker to haul away.

I still have a Sony 40" XBR CRT. Largest they made. The TV exhibits a green glow on edge depending on orientation due to the gravitational pull of the earth.

    Quoted from vid1900:

If it bugs you, get a Degaussing coil and remove it.

Degaussing didn't help this monster.. looked into it many moons ago. Sony themselves said nothing could be done.

Amazing TV though.. does 1080i and I use ithe for all my retro consoles and Beta and VHS.

That's like trying to get service on a pinball machine you paid for three years ago.

Lol.. when it was new bud.

    Quoted from littlecammi:

I still have two of them (and two of the matching stands for them), including one TV and one stand that have never been used

Yup.. here's mine.. with a blue screen so you can see the worst of the gravity effect..

Weight distribution is what made the move so freaking crazy..

Got to watch the episode last night... always nice to see pinball and was certainly a nice story. That said, was really surprised he got a deal - it was true what many had said that its not a protected idea and profit potential is low.. but hey, would love to be wrong and see these flourish!
