Either on the play field, cabinet or display. Mainly focussed on dmd/LCD but want ss and em for the sake of completeness. I'm putting this list together as I will be managing two coastal holiday accommodation houses which will be pet friendly. Each will have a cocktail arcade and a pin that includes a dog. Go go go go.

Spike the bulldog is tops.

Quoted from awarner:

Bad Cats has dogs on it (and they bark too).

More bulldog goodness.

Where abouts?

#9 10 years ago
Quoted from Toasterdog:

WH2O has a dog featured on the playfield. Got my Junk Yard only for the fact there was a dog and a toaster featured on the game. My dog's name is Toaster so it was a must have.

Is it in the back glass/translite too?

Where abouts?

Quoted from pepermintswirl:

Fishtales has a dog featured on the cabinet artwork....but I agree, Junkyard has the most "dog action"

Fish tales dog looks kinda like white water dog. Yep junk yard has spike toy, on the cab, translite and dmd mode. Good family theme with rewarding long shots.

Good ole striker.

Quoted from snyper2099:

The "guard dog" is featured in the gameplay trying to "hunt you down" on the backbox chase game where you "roll dice". There are also a bunch of dog dot matrix animations in the game on the DMD.

Thanks.

How good/bad of a player is this plank?

#31 10 years ago
Quoted from Monarca1091:

Ripleys believe it or not in one of the slingshots......creepy ass dog !!!.....

I think that creepy dog with dentures is called bozo or bozzo.

#32 10 years ago

How big of a part in the pin is toto?

#33 10 years ago

Is that a mini bull terrier or a pup? Very cute in any case.

#34 10 years ago
Quoted from EZG:

BSD has wolves in the video mode

Close, right genus wrong species.

Quoted from LTG:

Right drain lane game, for one thing.
LTG : )

Sounds fun. Looks like a go'er once these hit the second hand market here.

Quoted from PoMC:

Police Force?
Party Animal has a wolf...same thing as a dog.

Has lions, weasels, gators, rats but no dogs.

Wolf to dog is like chimp to human.

Quoted from Peppers:

Family guy, go Brian

Allegedly only a small number like 7-17 came here so these are like rocking horse poo to find around these parts.

Quoted from Dr_Spaceman:

JD. Double click launch buttons after 2nd sniper shot. Dog comes out, barks twice, and pees on the sniper's impaled corpse. Wow, that sounds really gruesome written out, but it usually makes me laugh. I always give a shot out to my dog when I see it. She is usually under the pins somewhere when I'm playing.

I'll have to check this out next time I see a judge dredd abouts. How would people find out about these things without Internet forums??

Quoted from Tsskinne:

Bull Terrier Pup she was just 8 weeks old then. Here she is now.

She's not amused by the weather. Do you find her temperament/drive to be more terrier or more bull breed like a stafford?

Just remembered monopoly has a dog in the dmd during one of the hurry ups, car v dog.

Both simpsons.

Quoted from girloveswaffles:

Not that I've seen any on the machine, but at times when you hit the "Ball Toss" targets on Cyclone, there is a bark.

I'll pay that.

Quoted from Fluke_Starbucker:

When I saw your topic, I thought you meant like people with pins and dogs. LOL.
I don't have one, but does your dog freak out with the sound and lights?

My British bulldog will sleep under a plank when I'm playing it apart from my dearly departed road show, he would lie against one of the front legs and enjoy the shaker. My greyhound is petrified and will leave the room if I turn one on. My toy poodle is indifferent, he will leave or stay depending if there's a better place to be or not.

Whether your dog is pin tolerant will be a mix of nature and nurture(about 60/40) but some breeds and lines should either be 100% pin tolerant or almost impossible to desensitise. Extremes of the spectrum would be Belgian malinios shepherds from working lines to Chinese crested dogs.
