Quoted from Fluke_Starbucker:When I saw your topic, I thought you meant like people with pins and dogs. LOL.
I don't have one, but does your dog freak out with the sound and lights?
My British bulldog will sleep under a plank when I'm playing it apart from my dearly departed road show, he would lie against one of the front legs and enjoy the shaker. My greyhound is petrified and will leave the room if I turn one on. My toy poodle is indifferent, he will leave or stay depending if there's a better place to be or not.
Whether your dog is pin tolerant will be a mix of nature and nurture(about 60/40) but some breeds and lines should either be 100% pin tolerant or almost impossible to desensitise. Extremes of the spectrum would be Belgian malinios shepherds from working lines to Chinese crested dogs.
