Anyone have an idea how hard cold is on pins? I am considering starting a game room up at our cabin in a garage type bunkhouse. Currently there is no heat in the room where the pins would go. I will probably install some base board heaters just to keep it from going too cold. Just curious if anyone stores pins in unheated buildings. Just curious if anyone knows how hard low temps are on older pins and modern pins with new style DMD's and LCD's. Thanks for any feedback I haven't seen much on this subject on the forums.

you want to keep the temp and humidity at a constant level, the temp swings are bad for the machines and create condensation.

Cold to warm to cold to warm to cold to warm is what causes vintage E.M. backglasses to flake off more than anything else.

Temperature swings is bad for the wood resulting in planking playfields. Condensation will make rust on metal parts. As others said, you want a stable environment for your pins.
