Having recently just bought by first home pinball machine (TSPP) followed less than a week later by an EM found on CraigsList I thought I understood the obsession that is pinball. Now there's a major blizzard bearing down on me in Northern Virginia; my first thought: Yes, more time to play pinball!!! Then I started to worry about what would happen if we lost power... and if it's safe to run the pinballs on a generator. Heat came secondary to that. That's obsession.
And no, I am not going to trust the power from a cheap portable generator to run my pins should it come down to that.
