Random question.Does plating hide dimpling from rust? I would imagine it would depending on the severity of the dimples.

I figured the plating would hide some of it that’s why I asked. I have a heavily pitted coin door and coin entry plate that I was looking to do. I think it’s doable because I sanded one area like crazy and it came out pretty good.
