For the ultimate Tapper restore....
Some call it gold, we call it brass, when it’s over the top, we call it, O.G.
- know the reference?

Love Tapper. Glad to see guys restore old vid games.

But hey, we can make plastic look good
Paul, you should ride on down for the show here in Nashville this week! I'll drive the fastback one day and we can do some burnouts!!!

I know that but it's still plastic, snap oups. Can't make it going to Daytona, my buddy is running his 70 Mustang road race car on the 24 hour course with a bunch of other cars, I'm flying down and shooting vid for him AND getting a ride. Gonna be a GREAT week in the sun and WAY more fun then a pinball show. Quit doin stupid burnouts and do some real racing.....ROAD RACING.

I started out in classic arcades, I really love old vectors, I've enjoyed the hunt for years, I still have a bunch. Let my Tapper go a couple of years ago but I got Mike into doing the cupholders and footbars several years back. We have about 2-4 sets of that stuff here for others machines. Paperboy handlebars too, I several sets of those now I can quick exchange for people. Makes it easy and quick. We've started doing several other arcade specific pieces, Afterburner handles, raised letter coin doors for Gottlieb and others in the correct powder coating, etc. It's nice to get to help folks with stuff that hasn't been offered before. Makes it fun

Burnouts are fun, I get my kicks on the road course of life

Short list of SOME of the things I'm looking for for the Exchange Library:

-- Stargate: Left Ramp (gold/stainless - not wireform) I carry the wireforms already in brass and candy purple for exchange, have the other ramp & pyramid too
-- Lord of the Rings: Center Wireform Ramp - I already carry several sets of the two stainless ramps. Need this center one to complete a set
-- Indiana Jones Apron Guard Wire
-- STTNG Apron Guard Wire -- also the right turret wireform (little short one)

-- Gun Shooters (and Fish Tales Too) - not IJ/DH but all the others, ALWAYS looking for them
-- Wireform sets I don't have and extra sets I exchange a lot (IJ, ToM, etc)... I'm up to over 60 sets to have for exchange - MANY not on the site yet

-- a early Ford Bronco 66-77 - ok, well this isn't for the exchange library but I miss my old one. So yeah, lol

If you have anything I might be interested in, shoot me an email. I'm not good at seeing PM on Pinside.

Lots of Fish Tales reels coming and going for exchange in the last week or two, in chrome and black nickel, here is a black nickel.
Someone asked yesterday if this was powder or plating, it is definitely plating, very rare to find anyone doing black nickel plating these days, it’s much sexier gloss black powder. It is a beautiful silvery black and has a lacquer clearcoat over it.
We do the shooters like this and wireforms. I shy away from doing trim, although I have some. We do offer black powder for the trim and have been supplying it for a while now to several restorers, thinking about just sticking it like we do the plating.
I try to carry Shadow, Fish Tales, Indiana Jones, Dirty Harry and Star Trek the Next Generation all in chrome or black nickel.
See more pics under the exchange parts of our page.

Hey Chris, would a metal gun handle be able to replace the plastic one on my T3? Granted the T3 handle only has 3 bolts so I'd have to drill 4 holes for the new one but the trigger wiring is just a 2 pin Molex on both isn't it?

I mean, anything can be done
Seriously though, I think you could, just a matter of which gun you'd want (IJ/DH you can buy new) and then fitting it to the game. They all use a micro switch to activate launching the ball.

#508 6 years ago

Hmmmmm I'll have to look into this cuz I'd like one of your chrome metal guns. No bolts though cuz I have clear plastic bolts that the heads light up real nice with beatmasters shooter housing light up..

The bolts are custom made for me, they are hex head bolts. I can post a picture of one if you like. I have them on my BF, T3 and Getaway, beatmasters shooter housing light up lights them up real nice.

Some shots from Nashville's Grand Ole Gameroom Expo this weekend. Great to see everyone. I kept telling myself I was going to go around and get lots of shots of all the game but never got around to it. Instead, I did get some shots of some of the cast of characters that I love getting to see at these things. Many good friends. It was a good show and appreciate all of you that came by to talk and all who bought something or brought parts to exchange, thank you!
Come see us next year if you didn't make it!
Chris

Ole Medusa was being a pain! Wish I could have got it running so everybody could have played it. It was doing some weird crap! Ole Bud is a good dude for shopping out Haunted House at the show for me!

#516 6 years ago

A set of Red for our friend David Yopp at The Retro outside of Memphis. He's a great guy doing cool stuff if you haven't seen what he's up to. He also brought all of the machines from there and ran the tournament with them at the Grand Ol Gameroom Expo this past weekend. I appreciate his support of what we do, heck he's even bought 4 pins from me in the past year too, lol. I believe these are for a 6 Million Dollar Man I sold him we pulled from a warehouse.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEND YOUR PARTS!!!
We stock new raw steel parts, ready to be plated or powder coated. We keep late model Bally/Williams and Stern parts ready so you don't have to send in your parts if you don't want to do so. You are more than welcome to send your parts for powder jobs. We stay away from plating stainless trim as much as possible, to insure the end result being the best it can be.

Always EMAIL orders to: [email protected]
PM here is always slower for me to respond.
Feel free to call anytime too! 615-598-0024

Bump for plating!
Hope you and family had a great weekend Chris. I really need to find a moment and get that gun off Indy. Swamped with work.

Thanks for bumping, my friend! I've not been on the ol Pinsides much in the last week. Took some time with the family for the holiday and helping our guys with getting some stuff fixed at the shop. Lightning struck the shop the weekend before thanksgiving taking out the whole chrome line, powder and other stuff. So all last week they were just try to get things running again.
Some time back, our main welder quit working. I managed to get a friend of mine in to fix it just yesterday, which was a huge blessing as with welders like this one it's rarely something simple or cheap. We are glad to have it going again as we have a mile high pile of wireforms to get fixed for myself and a few others. Thankfully it was a silly sensor we just bypassed (since it's obsolete) and got it back going after talking with Miller etc.

Hope everyone is doing well, let me know if you need anything. As always, if you have orders just email them to me at [email protected]
To see the goods go to: www.pinballplating.com - look under new parts, exchange parts etc. If you don't see it just ask. I have a good bit of stuff I've yet to get on the site, including many wireform sets.
Thanks!
Chris

This thing looks stupid good. Ok, I want it. Lol. Maybe one day I'll get to buy pins or myself again, lol.
Thank you for sharing the pics, it really does look amazing. Hard to beat candy purple over actual chrome plating. I love it.

Glad to help with this, I have them in stock ready to go as long as you don't need one with a tournament hole. If you do need that kind and don't mind switching to the flat more clean version with no hole, I have those ready. I usually have the receivers that go under it as well to make the switch, but I'm sold out at the moment. I should be able to get you one of those too if needed.

Always Email Orders here: [email protected]
Call if you have any questions, thanks!

Bunch of brass getting finished up. Adding a FEW sets of satin brass - like what you would see on Champaign Fire! Editions. These will be to put on a standard Fire, as I don't have extra Champ Fire Lockbars with the bolts going through them to have on hand.

Thanks to everyone for still thinking about us when it comes to those spare gun shooters, wireforms and other ramps and parts which we can use for the ol exchange library. Hope to update many of the new pieces to the site over the next few weeks.

Hope everyone is doing great, thank you as always for the orders!

I'm terrible at remembering to take pics of stuff before we ship it out, as we ship chrome and brass sets almost everyday. But this stuck out to me as it's a little different.
A beautiful Brass set for a Lord of the Rings LE, for a good friend in the hobby. Love the laser cut pieces. Not sure who sells those, but Kerry Stair sells the speaker panel at Mantis.
We stock all the normal trim stuff, lockbars, siderails, hinges, legs, coin doors, shooters and shooter housings, etc, new in chrome and brass plating for most late model Bally/Williams and Stern games. Hit me up if you don't see something. I've got quite a bit of stuff that hasn't made it to the site yet

13 days till Christmas everyone!!!

Yell if I can help!

I sold the last one I did up to a friend and it was awesome looking as well, but this one is an Le and going with more brass on it.

Thanks for the pix ulmpharmd looks very very nice. Love that brass speaker panel. Soooo much nicer than the original brass that discoloured at the slightest tough. This and Theatre of Magic are my 2 favourites when it comes to brass. I had a really nice Treasurecove restoration on a ToM with all the brass done. Beautiful looking game.

We can chrome them for you but you would need to send them in. I can't buy them to stock them if that makes sense. Most of our customers take them and scuff them then paint them black. Glad to help if I can.
