I got my Stern plastic bezels and flaps done in chrome and gold, so I can start offering Stern coin doors with full plating. I can also candy clear coat the chrome bezels to give the chrome door a little color contrast. I have some Stern and WMS doors in stock and I also have about 30 more Stern and WMS doors in the works to be put into inventory. I have a got a lot of request for the full plated Stern doors and I am glad to now be able to provide them. I have GB premium/LE habitrails up for swap. Will be on the site shortly or email me for details. They have been polished up and hit with candy clear coat. It is really hard to take pictures of them, but they match the pinks and purples on the playfield perfect. Depends on how the light hits them.

Just added some chrome, red chrome, blue chrome, and solid brass ball shooter rods to site. I will be adding more colors and finishes soon or can take special orders for whatever is needed. These are 1 1/4" solid steel and brass balls that are threaded. These are not epoxied pieces.

Here is a picture of the plastic plating I can do. It is not very cost effective to do in small quantities. I had 100 flipper button rings to gold plate and it turned out great. I am about to run a couple IJ idol heads in gold chrome and I will post pics of it very soon. This process really needs to be run in larger batches. Group runs are the way to go on this, so if I could get 10-20 IJ idol heads, 10 TOTAN lamps, 5 BoP helmets, etc., would be ideal.

yeah, that's the problem with most chrome/gold flipper button.
they are not easy to find but i'm willing to give them try when available.

The ones you got where probably vacuum metalized and they will not hold up well over time with lots of play. I put 5 coats of automotive grade clear coat on my plastic plating. It holds up very well and if it gets scratched you can buff it out like a car finish. I would not plate flipper bats, but my stuff will hold up. Vacuum metalizing has its place ( I use it on certain pieces), but if it is something that will be constantly handled it will fail at some point.

Here are the final pieces ready to ship off to my customer. They turned out so well I am thinking about doing a chrome and gold chrome run to sell. I am also in the middle of doing 3 Indiana Jones Idol heads in gold chrome. I will post pictures when they are ready. Since this process is not really ideal for small runs I am going to get 6-10 plastic plating orders together and do medium to large runs to help with cost. For you guys wanting IJ idols or TOTAN lamps done get together with some of the other guys and lets do group runs. The stuff looks amazing and will hold up over time. I am doing yeti cups that are being handled all day everyday and some I did 6 months ago still look perfect. It took about 3 weeks to get these flipper housings done and I will have the IJ idol heads done next week, so the turn around is pretty quick.
I have Stern/WMS chrome and brass stock ready to ship. Lots of exchange stuff available, shooters, wireforms, etc..
For those who want stuff dropped off or picked up at the Texas show please start planning all that out very soon.
