It made them look like a bunch of douchebags, unfortunately. Thank Zeus nothing ever came of this.
We had the same kind of show in one of my previous hobbies. They tried it twice. Spectacular failures both times. Hoping the same for this go-round. 
Edit: It's also worth noting that the people involved in these failed "reality" shows really got a bad rep among their fellow hobbyists, and never recovered their status within the community.

I'm really surprised at the low down hatred and bigotry being said about us. Most of which my those I've never spoken a word with in the past.
