    Quoted from Zitt:

Good things come to an end.
Pinball Center has just informed me that they won't ship game specific art to me any longer without going thru a German forwarder like mailbox.de.
I'm not doing that as there is just too much delay, too much risk; and too much expense.
Given most of you have ordered parts with game specific art; it would mean that nearly everyone will be dropped from this order. Leaving only a few of us holding the bag for a shipment. I'm going to move forward with MY parts; but assume that everyone else is no longer interested.
If you STILL WANT any non-art parts in your list; please contact me TODAY (10/30) to keep them on the list. you should assume / expect the shipping cost to be considerably higher.
I intent to pay for my parts tonight when Germany is "back".
From this point; anyone reading this far should understand that these group buys are permanently cancelled and will not be resurrected.

    You did the right thing.

Game specific art my ass. This place sucks big time!! I was ripped off trying to get some Scared Stiff sling shot plastics that look like a 5th grader painted them. If it wasn’t so hard to get a refund, I would have tried but lesson learned from me. I’m never buying anything from these fuckers.

Lethal, With all due respect; you don't have a clue what your are talking about.
I'm sorry you didn't like your sling shot plastics; and you've been vocal in this thread before about the same thing.
Because of your complaint; I had already stopped taking orders for that... so just let it go; ok?

Game specific art is copy protected... and there is an individual whom owns the rights to all bally/wms stuff. He protects his copyright... and chooses not to work with Pinball.Center to extort a reasonable sum for the right to reproduce. As a result; it's my understanding the Germans choose to tell him to go jump in a lake and won't ship to the jurisdiction he resides in. I can respect that. If fuxs us consumers... but it is what it is. I have no idea what the terms that person was demanding... but it was definably unreasonable.

For those in this group buy; some of the parts which weren't Bally / WMS were shippable. Per our agreement; I made the executive decision to continue with those parts. You should have a PM from me if your parts were shippable. And in the coming days; I expect to send our estimates via Paypal. I'll do this when I've confirmed payment and he's shipped the parts.
If you didn't get a PM from me; consider your order/parts cancelled per the copyright issues discussed above.

The final order has shipped from Germany.
The 8 customer except weberman have estimates in their Paypal accounts.

I expect to get the parts by Fedex sometime next week; That said - I do have a Houston Pinball Show in the 11th to get ready for. Unclear if I'm going to be able to pack and get all orders out before that weekend.

I’ve had crap stuff from them, only last week MOP told me they are not licensed and just copy with poor quality. True dat!
Last resort for sure if nothing else available.

Thanks Zitt. So where's my estimate now? I think you didn't send before because you needed my email.

Sorry; I forgot yours was still in draft form.

Everyone else; The package has been stuck in Fedex customs since the 4th. It's taken an act of congress to get them to answer the phone.
That said; I hope we have gotten them the final piece of information so they can release the package for delivery.
Seems unlikely that I'll have the package early enough to beat the Thanksgiving holiday; that said, I hope to have it before the holiday so I can start converting the estimates to invoices.

Package clear customs. Fedex claims Monday delivery. If true; I hope to start packing Monday after work.

Hello Zitt Are you planning an order with Pinball Center anytime soon? I have about $200 ready to order (I can significantly increase that, if necessary...).

Or should I just use mailboxde.com or other forwarder?

    Thank you!

I can't order any Williams art products so that effectively killed any future group buys.
If you have needs outside Bally/wms art products; send me a PM

I'm doing an unannounced, unofficial pinball.center order this weekend.
--> Remember; no bally or williams art pieces. <---
Please let me know BY PM before Sunday at 12:01am CDT - if you have any needs. I will ignore any requests for bally or williams art.

Are Plastics considered Bally art? These are 2 items I would like.

    2. https://www.pinball.center/en/doctor-who/13351-plastic-4-for-doctor-who.html

    Sigh.

    1 = No.
2 = Does it have art? Yes.

Does Truck Stop count? I need the plastic set from that

A simple google search answers all of these questions.

Sorry if this post seems rude ... but I'm really quite tired of people either trying to skirt the rules or just being un-informed. or whatever.
I didn't make the rules. Mr personality did. Parts with ART on them for Bally or Williams machines cannot be shipped to the USA. Claiming ignorance will not help either one of us in the endeavor and it's honestly a waste of my time.

Yeah, Zitt. When I saw these posts I winced.

Thank you for helping me in the past.

Don't let it get you down. It's an internet world. People expect to be able to see a picture on the internet and swipe right.

    Thanks anyway.

I wasn’t sure if the plastics counted the same as say cabinet art or something. Doesn’t hurt to ask, I’m putting on a huge event, didn’t mean to frustrate you. Especially considering some of these machines are pre-Williams merger and I wasn’t sure where they landed. Many of the 6803 machines seem totally disregarded.

I have no clue who Mr. Personality is, I simply avoid the drama

    Sorry for my misunderstanding
Did not think this was art in anyway

    Thanks anyway my bad

Artwork of any type is copy protected. Can be a sculpture, painting, digital art, or anything like that.
A certain person claims to own the rights to all Bally and Williams pinball artwork.
As a result; can't be ordered for delivery here in the states.

Mechanical parts without art are likely safe - especially when the patent they may have had has long since expired.

I'll reach out to my Pinball.Center contact to see if he considers pre-merger to be unshippable. I'm guessing that person mentioned above will claims he owns it all... so no.

    #370 62 days ago

Pinball.Center responded to say that they honestly do not know what Mr Personality has w/ regards to rights. Many have speculated that he often claims to have right to everything. I've even heard some people claim he told them even Gottlieb and others.

As a result; All Bally and Williams art is embargoed from shipping to the usa. Pre-Merger or not.
If someone can prove with 100% certainty that they don't own Pre-merger rights... then perhaps we can convince pinball.center.
But; as it stands today - if the game has a Bally, Midway, or Williams logo on it. It's a no-go.

Can you not just use a Canadian mail box for shipping that will then send it to your US address?
It’s a work around out here that we use for companies that won’t ship to Canada. I use Montana mailbox then gets shipped to me in Canada.

You do not want to order any art related products from them anyway, the quality is really subpar compared to originals. The art is always a bad scan of the original, printed at a too low resolution. Colors is off, details missing etc.

I have returned 4 out of 4 art related items I have ordered from them over the years.

Generic parts are really decent though, I order there often.
