I got the Speedy to commemorate the birth of my son and will pass it down to him some day. I wear it often so he will have memories of seeing me wear it, in pics etc...and since it isn’t a museum piece like a Daytona or Patek I don’t freak out over any dings I just wear the damn thing. 
I also enjoy the manual wind, don’t view it as an annoyance at all, couldn’t be happier about picking this up.

I only have one watch BUT...I have 5 different straps that I change on it frequently(rotate out once a week or so). People at work ask me all the time if I got a new watch but it’s just the strap.

Congrats! Love the pop of red font on those and agree that while it is considered big for a Rolex, really just average size compared to most modern watches these days. Must have a good relationship with your AD. Wear it in good health!!!
