Looks like another expensive hobby! Count me out!

Lemme ask what is probably a dumb question but I will expose myself anyways .. how do you discern a real watch from a replica* Is there a website that shows the difference? Do you only buy direct from Rolex or Omega, etc stores?

* wanted to say "refake" here but was advised I'd owe Tiki royalties

Here's mine. Worn daily for a couple years now. Not particularly accurate and has nominal water resistance. Cheap and scuffed up!

Still, would like to own a nice one once. Maybe when I sell another pin

Cool website. If you have any online resellers you recommend for authenticity and price let me know. Otherwise inevitably I'm going to Jared

ANDROID Men's Hydraumatic G7 SKELETON AUTOMATIC Blue Watch! I've only worn this a handful of times. Once at a film convention and when I did a TV interview. You can see the watch, and the interview, here!

Crazy watch! If you're in on Alien you gotta keep it!

Well I went a different (third) direction. Bought a Sinn. Will post pics when it comes in.

I really liked that blue Hamilton you posted. Looking forward to pics of the Sinn

Got a black monster a couple weeks ago. I'm a big fan of the Heuer Monaco, but not so much the price or authenticity concerns. Thinking about one of these now with the squarish subdials reminiscent of the Monaco

I have a gen 2 with the triangular lumes (teeth of the black monster!). I haven't worn it in quite a while but I like it. It came with a stainless bracelet that was pretty decent which I didn't see mentioned in the review.

oh I like that one a lot. Are there any watches you don't own? Would look great with a shark mesh strap I think.

What are the opinions on Squale? I was looking for something blue that wouldn't break the bank. Im also thinking about a Seiko blumo, but the Squale has the lighter blue that I really like

Just got this one for weekend wear. I'm hoping to warm up to it but it's really huge. Wears bigger than the monster

I need to sell a watch and I never post on WUS. Can I make a FS ad there as a noob?

#1105 7 years ago

Anyone know what this model is? Ignore the strap. Is that a factory dial color?

Quoted from ToucanF16:

I'm not sure what model it is, but I'm sure the pic is from CombatStraps. Ask Aaron Pimentel at http://www.combat-straps.com/. It may be a customer's watch and he might have some details.

you guys are good. thanks!
