Quoted from Meegis:Anyone here ever make a purchase with chrono24?
yes, that's where I got the Bremont above. No problems at all.
Quoted from Meegis:Was it international?
Was in France and I'm UK. Not really international. Money held in escrow until released. Like all online buying there are going to be shysters so stick to reputable businesses and google them first.
Quoted from HeyYouSir:The new Invicta Pro Diver. Notice anything unusual about this tag?
oh that fills me with confidence in the build quality!
Quoted from aFineMoose:Heads up everyone: looks like there’s a new run of the robo-pinball watches from Mr. Jones!

Thanks, ordered one. Stupidly cheap for the work involved. That's 3 watches I am now waiting for delivery on!
Quoted from rai:I wanted to get a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41
I want one with a black dial but I'm not paying over MSRP by a factor of 2. I bought an Omega Constellation.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I’ve been in 3 Rolex stores in Vegas since Tuesday. No one has any stock at all. I’m trying to buy an Explorer II Polar with no luck.
forget buying a Rolex from an AD. Just not going to happen. Stupid state of affairs but look at the grey market e.g. Chrono24. Expect to pay at least double MSRP.
Quoted from rai:I’m curious if anyone uses the GMT function? I’ve maybe be out of my time zone once a year or less so having an extra feature just for that seems like something I’d never use, a GMT for me just seems superfluous that it’s a nonsense thing to me. My brother-in-law had a watch with this ‘extra hand’ he didn’t even know why. He’s not a watch guy it was a fashion brand, I thought it was silly to have features and not even know what they are on a watch.
I also question about the chronometers and such if I never use them is it still something to buy just for the looks? I’m not saying I wouldn’t buy one with functions I never use but just question is it just for the looks or the heratage?
I bought 2 watches with rotating bezels (divers) but I don’t dive or use it to time my parking meter, I’ve watched videos of watches with rotating compass bezels and think really why?
Yeah, pretty useless especially when you live where its gmt anyway. The elapsed time on a diver is far more use
Bought most of my watches from chrono24, both private sellers and trade. Not had a problem using their escrow service.
Quoted from NicoVolta:Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Glacier… now all I need is some yacht rock.

Quoted from DennisK:What brand is the Flieger?
Just a cheap Chinese version. Tandorio. First foray into a bronze watch so didn't want to throw a lot at it.
Quoted from ryanbrooks:Agreed…and the OP needs to make poor jokes about how now we’ve all looked at his Ball…
never knew there was so much to owning a ball . Lovely thing but could do with a better clasp like my Tudor if it wants to play in the big leagues.
Just finishing this. Black with meteorite dial. Need to make a new repocharge.
If you can't find them, make it!

Rehaut, damn speller.
Quoted from ryanbrooks:I keep thinking about getting a Hydroconquest. What do you think about it? Worth every penny if not more? How’s the overall fit and feel? You’re running a strap, but if you have a bracelet, how’s it fit and feel? Arm hair puller?
I have the full ceramic version on the rubber strap. Its a lovely watch, the only thing I could knock is the bezel is matt and the case shiny which looks a bit odd. Deployant is carbon fibre and is reverse so the extra strap is hidden and so no keepers, even has micro adjust. Great design and how all should be.
