Quoted from Frippertron:

Picked up this cool vintage reissue Yema Navygraf with in house movement. Interesting French watch company with a lot of history. Their Superman watch might be my next purchase.[quoted image][quoted image]

Very cool. Would you mind posting a photo of the caseback?

I’ll take some higher quality pics when I get back home from work. Here’s a stock image of the caseback, unfortunately it’s solid but with a nice etched design.

Already sold out... wow! Glad I got one.

Looks great on mesh or vintage brown (Colareb Matera).

Thanks for sharing your watch. The brand didn't ring a bell for me, so I checked out their website. https://en.yema.com/
They have some beautiful watches. Will certainly keep my eyes on them and consider buying one down the road.

Got a nice perlon strap for my Vostok Amphibia today in the mail. A really nice summer feel. Small, light, and doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Anyone ever checked out the new rolex oyster perpetual 2020 watches? A bunch of new colors. I'm not a big fan off any of them. But red grape has been discontinued which means my 2019 one was one of the last produced. Good for its value!

#1916 3 years ago

I'm not generally a Rolex fan, but you did well snagging the red grape version. It's tasty.

#1917 3 years ago

I’m not a Rolex fan but the new OP colors are an homage to the Stella Day Dates of the 1970’s. These were not big sellers at the time but have become cult classics. I respect the crown for trying something different and these might prove popular with a younger crowd.

#1918 3 years ago

If anyone has any interest, I have an 18k white gold Franck Muller Vegas 5850 I’ll consider trades for. Plus or minus cash for stern premiums or JJP’s

That's what I'm thinking. Plus they still have the classic black or blue options. I'd be curious how the new colors look in person. That green does look interesting.
I wear a 39 which has been eliminated. I'd also be curious to see how much bigger a 41 is

I’d love to see them in person myself. I bet these are gonna be popular with both men and women.

Yes. Honestly, the watch looks much better in real and probably one of the best I’ve seen. The light change the view of it a lot. First time I see that with a watch. I love it.

#1929 3 years ago

It’s been a while since I posted here. Here’s a few of my newer watches. The first is a Tudor Pelagos LHD (42mm), then two Bremonts; a Boeing 100 Limited Edition (300 pieces/43mm) commemorating Boeing’s 100th anniversary. This watch is special because I’m currently a Boeing 767 captain. The other is a Bremont Hawking Limited Edition (41mm/388 pieces) paying homage to Stephen Hawking’s knowledge of time.

Cool thread. I'm a little bit of a watch guy, not too crazy though. I've always preferred Tag Heuer as in my opinion they meet that casual but nice happy medium. I have a few, actually gave one away to my nephew a few months ago and he seemed to be pretty excited about wearing a nice watch (don't see many kids doing that nowadays).

As you can surmise from my username, I'm a massive sports car racing fan. As such I've always been a fan of the Gulf Oil livery, notably any time they're on an Aston Martin or a Porsche. I'd love to have a Monaco Gulf ala Steve McQueen, but alas those are a bit out of my price range.

Here's a photo of my favorite watch, a Formula 1 Gulf special edition. Bought it several years ago when I was at the airport in Singapore. Had some time to kill waiting for my flight to Malaysia and was poking around the duty free. Other than Hong Kong of the airports I have been to the selection in Singapore is about as good as you can find. Wasn't expecting to find this watch, and wasn't really in the market to actually buy one (I usually like to ask permission from the Mrs. before making a significant purchase). Stumbled across this one though and instantly knew I had to have it! Always happy to throw this thing on my wrist.

Recent acquisition: Vostok Classica in gold. Reminiscent of the Glashutte Senator without the stratospheric price tag.

It has arrived! Nice bit of kit. I was not expecting the added rubber strap. Came with a nice roll up travel bag that holds five watches as well. Also showed up pre-sized...which was nice.

The bracelet is very, very nice, and his micro adjustments for a perfect fit. It's also surprisingly thin for a 300M dive watch.

So lets say I have a watch that I love, but I absolutely hate the leather band. Any suggestions on getting a new one? Do I have to take it somewhere, or are they universal where I can just buy something online?

This is the watch.

Here’s a site I found for you https://www.mastersintime.com/watch-bands/tissot/?strapsearch=T070405

You can probably find a band anywhere as long as it’s 22mm wide. That’s a sweet looking watch you have

Thanks @JayDee, that's really helpful. I didn't find that site in my searches. Unforunately it looks like they only have one bracelet listed as compatible.
