I just got a brand new in the box Bulova watch the other day for my 25 year work anniversary and I have no desire to take it out of the box and wear it. It says it's the Mens Classic with the black strap and has a retail sticker on it of $375. I'm looking to sell it, anybody got any idea what it's really worth?

Thanks,
John

Hard to say. Bulova makes a ton of "Mens Classic" watches. Maybe $200 on eBay.

Bulova model #97B155. MSRP $375. Looks like the retail is $300 at Bulova website below. I've seen other references to it online for $177. https://www.bulova.com/products/97b155

Sooo...maybe $200 if it was in front of a guy that wanted a Bulova watch right then?

I think you're looking at $150 for the person who wants that Bulova watch.

#1312 6 years ago

Just ready to post that...

If it were silver rather than gold I'd be interested. Good luck!

It's definitely a nice design.

#1316 6 years ago

Yeah I know right, but I didn't have a choice. In fact these were kind of a after thought I think since I was told about getting one about a month after my anniversary date was over and then it took another six months for it to finally get to me.

#1317 6 years ago

Can you guys recommend a watch forum? I’m going down a watch rabbit hole lately.

watchuseek.com

Is watchuseek.com a good place to sell? I've got a business opportunity that I'm going after. Will require liquidating my pinball collection and several watches.

Careful with those ICO's

And yes watchuseek is a very good place to sell. All ads on watchuseek also end up on watchrecon.com. I've sold quite a few watches on watchuseek.

Can anybody here say what is a good (not crazy priced) watch winder?

It is popular, but you can't sell unless you have 75 posts, and if you post a bunch in a couple days, they will remove your posts. I was reading a ton of threads and posting in a bunch over a couple days and they pulled all my posts, so i stopped using that forum.

I really like my Wolf meridian triple winder. Not sure what is "Crazy" priced to you. For me, spending $600 on a quality winder was worth it when i'm winding rather expensive watches. The Wolf has a ton of control and settings. Allows me to set the proper rotation direction and rotations per hour.

Sorry...I don't use them.

I have one I might be selling. Top quality, but only a single winder. I'll post pix if you'd like.

Sad how similar your company is to mine. I find it funny they leave the Price Tag on it to basically show what they think you are worth. lol My company did the same and I asked if I could just have the 375$! lol

You don't think they actually spent $375 do you?

Some people got way too damn much money.

Yep! Some one is a serious Paul Newman fan, and really likes that early Daytona Rolex.
Possibly Rolex bought it, but that money figure is a crazy high amount. Hey, hmmm.. ask Ted .

Here is my Omega Aqua Terra. Golf is my other love, so the dimples on the face are super cool to me. Love the strap with bracelet clamp. Wish all of my watches with straps had the same.

Stop temping me with more Omega Porn! My Omega addiction is almost stronger than pinball at this point... Beautiful watch.

If anyone is interested in the Swiss legend Watch Winder...let me know...

I’ve been wanting an Omega for a long time. Finally picked up this Speedmaster. I remember when collecting pins was cheaper than collecting watches.

Here’s my Casio Tachy Meter. The green bar moves one tick every second and the red one moves one every 5.
I love this thing. It reminds me of California in the 80s

Don't know why, but I love the big Panerais. I finally landed a pre-owned PAM0372, one of my grail watches. Check out the 3mm thick domed Plexiglas crystal.

Good looking Casio. What vintage?

It’s a DW-400. Unfortunately I don’t have the original band.

If you do a search for Casio skywalker, they also made a surfing timer that’s really cool.

Very nice! I’m a huge Panerai fan, own a 505 and 176

I just got this cool tactical G-Shock today, but damn, this thing is big. I feel like I'm wearing a microwave! And I tend to like larger watches. I didn't read the specs and thought it was smaller. It will be good for wearing outside of gloves or other layers though.
