Thank you, everyone who talked my friends and I into going to Pinball Wizard over Funspot.
PW is a very clean, well kept facility and every pinhead within a days drive should check it out.
In terms of maintenance/upkeep, the machines all rank from a 7-10.

The video game section was also in fantastic shape and just like the pins, was a great mix of old, new and a few obscure.

Can't wait to go back there

Here's a bunch of pics I took. I'm sorry if most are a bit fuzzy. I was trying not to disturb people and took them quick.

Been a long time since I've seen one of these. The backglass is about as subtle as an AC/DC song

My buddy just uploaded the video he took that day to You Tube. Some nice looks at the machines there but mostly a stays at TOM & CV while we screw around

Quoted from Max_Badazz:

Haha, that's apples to oranges. Funspot pins are awful and no one should go just to play the pins there. Pinball Wizard is NH's premier pin palace (Lanes & Games for MA)

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/conditions-at-funspot-nh

We had gone to Funspot for a few summers in a row.
However it was last year, with so many broken vids and pins on the floor and my newly rekindled love for pinball that motivated me to steer my group to PW. The rub was, I (at the time), was the only pin-fan in the group and knew it was going to be a small challenge to get my more vid oriented friends to go to PW.

The consensus was, unless we hear things at Funspot/ACAM have improved. We're just going to go to PW for our "summer day at the arcade" and hopefully head back there for a few shorter trips throughout the year.

Quoted from dmbjunky:

I don't want to run down Funspot. I love to see any arcade that is still up and running for the public. They also have a lot more games total than PW to maintain. But if you want pins, yeah Pinball Wizard is the way to go.

I agree on all counts.
Like I said in the other thread I get the feeling they are understaffed and underfunded at ACAM/Funspot.
I hope they have a plan in place to start improving the overall condition of the museum and possibly start recruiting more restoration volunteers.
Until then Pinball Wizard will be the place for my crew.
It stinks, because we really like Funspot and want it to thrive.

Quoted from Patofnaud:

I agree Quint. I'd offer to clean/service Funspots pins when I have free time, but they require self paid liability insurance if you do.

Oof…That’s a quite a showstopper.
If all they had were rare machines and games, I’d completely understand where ACAM is coming from but really, what’s the harm in having a volunteer program for the common pieces in their collection?
Have someone sit through a class or have a simple test. Sign whatever legal docs you need and allow access to only common machines.
What’s the harm in having a hobbyist clean up High Speed or Black Knight with only materials provided by ACAM?

Quoted from AirWolfNH:

My only complaint about PWA is that is so close to my house that sometimes I don't get to hear a whole song on the radio when I drive there!

You lucky sunnuva ha ha haaaa.....

Unfortunately, that makes sense.

Quoted from NeighborFrank:

Hi there everyone, my name is Trent, I'm the tech at the Pinball Wizard. Glad everyone can enjoy our collection here. We really do strive to keep our machines in the best possible condion, because nothing is worse than a dirty arcade where nothing works.
We also just received our Full Throttle from Heighway Pinball. It really is a wonderful game. Looks really sharp as well.

Holy Crap, that's awesome!
Played it at Pintastic and really enjoyed it.
Great design and flow
