Quoted from Max_Badazz:

Haha, that's apples to oranges. Funspot pins are awful and no one should go just to play the pins there. Pinball Wizard is NH's premier pin palace (Lanes & Games for MA)

+1

I live in Pelham 70% of the time about 3 miles from PWA, and stay in Laconia about 3 miles from Funspot the rest of the time.
Apples to Oranges is being generous, more like Apples to rotten tomatoes... PWA machines are always in premo shape or they get pulled and fixed/shopped fairly quick. Funspot on the other hand, either broken, severely beat or beat but color bombed with LED's in the most ugly fashion. Funspot currently has less that 2 dozen machines, only about 4 on the 2nd floor are worth playing (TAF, Monopoly, Jokerz, Cyclone) but most everything on the 3rd floor is meh. Only good thing on the third floor is they have a few older more rare pins (1 Zachariaa and an Atari). The Xenon is WAY over done on LED's with a BARE playfield that looks like someone took a belt sander to it, BK2K the drop target bank is dead, I could keep going......

PWA is the place for Pins, and does a good job on Vids.
Funspot has more vids (some really rare ones too) and does beat PWA if your into redemption games and mini golf....

I agree Quint. I'd offer to clean/service Funspots pins when I have free time, but they require self paid liability insurance if you do. It's a hobby, not a job

I do end up there at FS more than PWA only because during the summer I quest to save my tickets for big prizes. MUAHAHAHA

My guess is their insurance lawyers got involved. "You know, if they drop a playfield on their head they 'could' sure you for bad brackets..." type crap.

currently awaiting a new PS

WHA? New? Why not fix? Or find someone local who knows the hot end of a soldering iron from the cold end?
