First time I went some years back. TPF brought me down to do a seminar. It didn't work out. So as long as I was there, I helped with the Friday night tournaments.
A lot of fun. A great way to meet people.
There are all kinds of things for volunteers to do. So no telling where you'll be stationed.
What ever it is, I'm sure you'll be glad you did.
LTG : )
I run volunteers for the Golden State Pinball Festival and we have jobs for everything from leveling machines, cleaning glass, security, and checking wristbands. We encourage everyone to volunteer. Evenings are the hardest to fill so if you can please do.
At the show I host (Saratoga Pinball & Arcade Show in Saratoga Springs NY), anything from helping with setting up the room, to helping others move and set up games, to checking wrist bands, to helping answer questions from attendees, or any of the dozen other smaller tasks that might come up. Basically, whatever needs doing. Keep your eyes and ears open for where help might be needed if you aren't asked to tend to something specific.
