I currently Charge $100 an hour. If they are more than 40 miles away, it is 100 per hour of travel TO them as well. If they bring it to me, I charge by the job instead. Also, I am planning to raise my rates to $150 an hour next year.

Hell, I drove an hour and a half.. only to realize I grabbed the WRONG parts box! When I have orders come in for on-sites, I combine all the part I need for each job, into boxes. I label the boxes so as not to get confused. But this time.. I had the wrong name in my head and got the wrong box. I had to turn around and go back for it.

I LOVE my home pinball owners. Generally speaking, my clients are wealthy and don't mind spending $1500 or so, for me to rebuild their 30 year old pin, to make it new again for them. My commercial clients, they nickle and dime me to death.
