Pinball Stuck Across International Border

Letter received on Wednesday May 20th 2020.

lBack in March I sold a top rated solid state pinball machine to a guy who lives in another country and I live in USA. I was promptly paid for this machine so I have his money and the pinball machine. My problem is it has been sitting on a pallet in the middle of my garage floor and I am unable to move it or use my garage space for parking my car. Today they announced that it would be another month if not longer before the border would be opened. I have been very patient with the guy, but recently have told him to rent storage in the US close to his home in Canada for his machine and he has not offered to do that.

I don’t want to be an SOB by telling him I’m keeping both his money and his machine, but after 3 months I am tired of storing it for him and I want the use of my

Garage back. Any suggestions as to what I might to solve my problem?? I have collected for over 20 years and never run into this before I am assuming others may have a similar problem??

Thanks, Stymied

Dear Stymied

A bad situation and not your fault or your buyers fault. I'd keep waiting or refund his money and sell locally.
