I've broken the habit of leaning on the lockdown bar while playing. It would hurt my wrists during longer events and slow down my reaction time on nudging/slap saves. Now I'm trying to keep my weight spread evenly on both feet, both for a balanced nudging core and comfort over extended competition. I like keeping my left foot against the leg of the machine and my right foot behind me.
