Having new laminate floor installed and looking for suggestions on some furniture sliders for pinball legs that won't crack or rough up on the bottom. Used just regular plastic ones on carpet and they crack/rough up on bottom which is surprising for carpet.

Pinball life sells some happy sliders that I am super pleased with. Well worth 15$

Yes, they are great. The fact that they snap on....so they don't fall off when you lift up the feet is well worth it on its own merit. I bought 10 sets of the regular, non-felt version...since I have carpet.

Were those sliders missing the padding inside of them?

They have the foam padding in them. I can understand them cracking eventually but the roughing up on the bottom is weird when on carpet.

Happened to a bunch of mine in carpet; might not be that unusual

Same, half my games were on those type and the majority of them had the same scratches on the bottom.
