Before I order from Amazon for less than half the price, does anyone see any differences in these playfield rotisseries?
Everything looks exactly the same to me. If you have one, do they work ok? I'm all for supporting the specialty sites but this seems like a huge price difference unless I'm missing something. Thanks

Looks unsturdy, especially for $300 bucks. Pindoc Pinball rotisserie looks more stable and the same price. Here is Cary Hardy's video review on them:

I have a home made one with ideas from this post:

Cool, Thanks. Amazon has them at 144 for a set. I would rarely use it, but I don't want it to be shit either.

I've got the pindoc one from right here on Pinside. His design is sturdy, reliable, solid, and does not wobble. When you lock the pivot knobs, the playfield stays where you put it....does NOT creep on you. I just finished doing a playfield rebuild on a Doctor Who using this rotisserie.

That's a pair of Conquer Portable Home Bike Repair Stands. Look at eBay item number:184319125628
I had planned on using a pair of bench mount Conquer stands for my rotisserie and in fact bought them and mounted them to a DeWalt miter saw stand. They worked ok on empty playfield but I had concerns about when it was populated so I sold them as bike stands on eBay and built two rotisseries from scratch. I would not trust the free standing bike stands not to drop the ball as the only thing holding them in place is the playfield. At least with what I had there was a rather stout piece of aluminum bar of the miter saw stand taking the strain.

Attached are pics of my take on a rotisserie. I looked into steel black pipe and angle iron you see various designs of but the cost of materials was thru the roof! I thought there must be a less expensive option and came up with this. I built two of these thinking I'd need two for a swap, turns out I was wrong. Once you remove everything from topside, just flip it onto a table and put the new playfield on the rack, easy. This designed worked out really well and both came in under $90 for the pair (not counting some nuts and bolts I already had. Now I already had the DW723 (old style now they are DWX723) but these will work on anything you clamp them down on really. The bottom brackets are fitted to the DW732 but it's wood, easily adapted to what you have or just bolt them to a piece of plywood and put the whole thing on a table. I also made one side deep so it will clamp on a top rail. You can have the second set I built for cost, say $50 and shipping? Just PM me.
