    Quoted from surfnrg:

I like the collectibility aspect, trying to figure out which games will go up more than others.

You should have stuck with hockey cards or comics. I think they are more what your looking for since they take up less room When your buying pinball machines in hopes of their price going up is only playin with fire. It was a matter of time before Planetary Pinball started remaking titles. Plan to see more in the future!

On one side, it's great that they are remaking the games as it shows the hobby is alive and well. I always justified my pinball purchases as a guilt free hobby, as the games always appreciated. I like the collectibility aspect, trying to figure out which games will go up more than others.

This whole thing about remaking games, makes the games worth much less. I stocked up in high end titles because I ran out of space. Now this guy just killed the market. It's a little frustrating. Yes I'm sure it's great for distributors and those who wanted games for less.

    Quoted from surfnrg:

I spent many years buying and selling games and working my way up to the collection I have. I would have purchased other titles if I knew that the most expensive games were going to be a bad investment.

Didn't you just say you didn't get into the hobby to make money?? Your all over the place. You remind me of my sister

However, and I have been saying this forever that this is a HOBBY and people should expect to lose money not make it.

Truer words have never been spoken......

Hey, don't laugh!....at the time, I sold HALF of my collection, got over $4,000

Sounds like you got out before the bubble burst on that one. That is crazy, 4K? I wonder what there worth now?
