What the topic says. Has pinball ever invaded your dreams?

I once dreamed I was playing my SweetHearts in the kitchen but it had a Frankenstein head mounted on top of the head inside a glass dome and the head started to come alive as some eerie music played. I realized to my horror that I had to keep the ball in play if I wanted to survive until finally the music died down and the head stopped moving as I "won". Scary!

I guess no one else has had dreams about pinballs which I think is odd.

I did have a dream where I stumbled across a fantastic barn find filled with beautiful woodrails and was telling the seller that I'll buy them all! when I woke up.

This has been covered before I believe. Yes, I do dream about pinball; quite often actually. In fact, just this morning I had a dream about a reality TV show that featured guys who repaint pinball cabinets. I even recall maybe the first pinball dream I ever had. It was probably in the late '70s, and I dreamed that I went to a co-worker's house, and he had a Gottlieb "World Series" pin. I guess dreaming about pinball is the test for being a true pinhead!

Had one 2 days ago where I saw a 50's shuffle alley in the woods as I was driving by. I can't remember if my family wouldn't let me stop (lol) or it was just such a wreck that I kept on driving, but it was frustrating. I remember waking up and thinking it was just as well because I already have one.

Oh, that's a great one! The worst part is waking up!

Yes, I remember having a dream about being in some local hotel/resort. They were remodeling or something. There was a basement room with like 5 Bally/Williams era DMD games. I asked about them and they told me they would sell them to me. I can't remember the price or the titles but they were dirt cheap. I was super excited. Which is odd as I consider myself an EM guy. I realized I didn't have the means to haul them home so I had to leave to go source a U-haul. Upon leaving I had this great anxiety they would be gone upon my return. They weren't and got there and loaded them up.

I'm sure I have had other pinball related dreams as well. As all encompassing as this hobby can be sometimes it makes sense. Unfortunately nothing else is in my memory.

You got it! There were approximately 100 woodrail pinballs in great condition for about $200 each in the barn and I wanted to go back to sleep again so I could buy them all.

Had a dream early in my introduction to the hobby almost 20 years ago where I responded to a newspaper ad with pinballs for sale to find and old guy with a basement full of wedgeheads for sale.

Now I'm that old guy but the games aren't for sale.
