Would love to brainstorm a little about pinball and pinball related stuff that would be good to put on a wishlist. No machines, only stuff that's below $100. Bonus points for items that fall into the category of things you wouldn't buy for yourself but would love to receive as a gift.

I asked my wife to get me this shirt:

...but they have a bunch more shirts, hats, buttons, and stickers over at http://www.ddpinball.com/

Also, I could never bring myself to fork out the extra *gasp* 50 cents per ball to get these Premium Ultra-Gloss Pinballs

...but my wife just placed the order a couple days ago. Should make some great (albeit heavy) stocking stuffers.

Good luck with the Holiday receiving, Ryan.

Pinball Magazine, and the book they published.

One of my favorite gifts to get is gameroom decor. Stuff to hang on the walls, etc...

I have a guideline that I can only hang up things in the garage that I got on a trip or that someone gave to me. I can't just go to a local store, buy a bunch of stuff, and hang it up.

I like to look at them and remember the story, or the person, behind them.

Another thing to consider would be pin "extras" like Arcade mentioned. If they don't have a pingulp yet, it's probably because they've never tried it or spent the money on it. Same goes for BentPlastic, lit flipper buttons, etc...

Diagnostic Tools and/or Kits make great Christmas gifts for people that are fixing their own machines or like to tinker For some reason that stuff doesn't really get thought of as much, but they're kind of the gift that keeps on giving as someone expands their knowledge about fixing machines. Mainly useful for people not buying the brand new machines.. and instead tinkering with older project machines they pick up & looking for easier methods/tools to repair the machines.

    December Sale -- https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pinitechcom-december-sales-on-diagnostic-tools

Additionally there's a few other guys creating some neat tools:

    http://www.siegecraft.us - Pinball Diagnostic & Test Equipment

Lindsey @ http://www.pinforge.com has some neat stuff coming as well for Classic Bally/Stern (I think 2016'ish)

Aside from being one of the guys making the stuff.. if it was circa 2008 when I just got into the hobby, I'd have been *thrilled* to get some neat kits or diagnostic equipment for Christmas.

    Quoted from Arcade:

    Headphone jack.

    This might be my favorite.

Just went to the site, and can't figure out how to subscribe. I guess you just buy individual issues?

Interesting suggestion. I would never have thought of that!

I would not ask my friends/family to buy something for my games. They would have no idea.

Framed game flyer. Easy wall decoration, and nice addition to the game room.

Yea, I have headphone jacks on all my modern games. Technically they are a little over your $100 limit but highly worth it.
Not only can your family watch TV and talk while you play, but you will be amazed at all the cool sounds you never even knew the game makes.

Ok I am old and clueless about headphones. Any recommendations for over the ear headphones that are reasonably priced with reasonable sound reproduction. Do not want tons of extra bass. I have the pinsound stuff for headphones but no headphones. Would be a great gift.
    Thank You

    My time to shine!
I am a musician and a DJ. I got these headphones a few years ago, and I love them.

I haven't found another pair of headphones that offers the purest sound. It doesn't amplify any intonation, thus it isnt very popular. I got mine for $20 at guitar center

It also come in red. The red version is often cheaper as well.

These headphones are pretty comfortable, asjustable, and have a long cord.
It doesn't really block background noise, so if your wife or girlfriend yells, she won't get mad that you didn't hear her.
    Hope that helps!

Love that tilt bob shirt! Most people wouldn't even have a clue what that is, but it's immediately recognizable to every pinhead.

I decided to buy myself this 15" drill press for Christmas. With a set of nice Cobalt bits, about $400. I started out looking at benchtop drill presses, but when I realized I could "go big" for another $150 I was sold. This is the 15" Porter Cable drill press that only seems to be sold at Lowes. The quality is better than I expected.
