    Hi everyone,

I got bored today during my studies and being an Economics major, I decided to look at the production numbers by year for the major companies circa 1970-1999. Came up with this spreadsheet and thought I'd share it here. Its not the cleanest looking but gives an idea of the industry's peaks and valleys during that period. This isn't 100% accurate as some numbers I had to estimate (Data East has a couple production runs missing) and production numbers are from the models themselves not exact per year. For example a machine introduced in December will have all its production numbers counted for the year it was introduced, not dispersed between the actual production times. Let me know what you think!
