Anyone know of a good site that sells classic pinball or vintage video game posters?

If they don't exist... anyone have any cool art sources that they've used in their game rooms?

    I just saw this: http://gameroomjunkies.com/index.php/2012/04/13/minimalist-pinball-poster-pinbot/

Think it's neat, but it's not for sale.

This guy does some cool art work. Its not pinball/video game stuff but related to a lot of the pins that were produced. For example he has a lot of comic book characters that were made into pins, Doctor Who stuff, Star Wars, etc. I don't have any of his art as I just recently found out about him. But I might buy some in the future.

I believe we will be releasing some of the minimalist designs from GameRoomJunkies on shirts in the near future at http://www.pinballshirts.com

Not posters I know, but wearable posters.

Preston does some great stuff and is the creator of our Atlanta Pinball League (including the logo)

Thanks for the links. I had found fine art america... I also found sound retro video game posters that are made to look like WWII propoganda/recruitment posters. You can see some of the images here:

Mike Maydak is the man. I have a bunch of his work. He is going to do a Judge Dredd in the next few months, at least that is what he told me on Facebook. Can't wait!!! He finished a new Darth Vadar over the weekend and it is really cool.

Very cool stuff, but I don't understand the purpose. Why would they make a "poster" but not offer it for sale and only publish a lower resolution image with a big banner across it so nobody could ever use it?

Check out "pacific pinball museum" website, they've got a bunch of artists that have created murals for there expositions. They are awesome! top notch quality but not sure if for sale but they are artists that probably have studios etc.
Worth checking out! I was at there expo in 2012 in San Rafael, wall to wall posters, murals hanging from ceiling and not to mention 200+ pinball machines to play! Very well done show and artwork.

    nothing on their website

This needs more. More in the background, etc. Kinda plain, but the idea is GREAT.

    #20 11 years ago

I just went to pacific pinball museum website and on there home page scroll down to where it says art, click and off you go. If anything check it out, find a artist on there that you like and ck out where he or she has a gallery.
I believe some of those artists on there put proceeds from paintings towards museum, win win!

I have several pictures on my website under Pinball Voyeur which I think many would make cool posters. I have a bunch more I will be adding when I get off my lazy ass.

I'm wondering if you could find someplace to convert them into posters or large enough to frame.
Kinko's or a sign shop maybe? It's not illegal if you're making one for personal use. Feel free to copy them to your computer.

@RWH... that Escher photo... do you have a link to where that is sold?

    #30 11 years ago

    @Mr68:

I like that photo of the old pinball shop door.

Do you have a large/hi-res file for that?

You could commission a pinball mural from one of those artists, but it wouldn't be cheap. If anyone is interested they can PM me and I can pass along inquiries.

I think these are reproductions, but they are decent:

I'll be doing some short run custom pinball/arcade artwork in about 4-6 weeks.

Silkscreened on nice paper. Probably 16x20 size

Part of the reason besides shirts that I ordered a bigger screen press.

Not sure which one it is you want but I'll try to look up where I got them, it's been over a year since I loaded them.

    Kim,

Where did you get that photo of Selena Gomez playing Tommy? I can't wait to show it to my kids!

    #38 11 years ago

@RWH: The black and white one with green 1984 stamped on it...

    #39 11 years ago

    Lol. Love those propaganda posters.

I search Google images in my spare time. It's hit and miss with some luck and I have to tweak the search parameters to find something new. I would gladly accept suggestions should anyone submit something they find.

Here's a picture of Beyoncé that I haven't put on my web site yet. Hopefully that will also get your kids attention.
