Quoted from zacaj:I don't actually know how to play Texas Holdem
Also, there's no guarantee the plunge at the beginning of a ball will be the start of a hand, which I think is when the blinds come into play?
True, I was just joking around, though. Blinds are basically just guarantees that there's a bet on the table, and that the stakes are being raised periodically to make sure people get eliminated. Thus, your comment about being forced to bet more on later balls/plunges reminded me of the blinds. I know it's not intuitive, and sometimes doesn't make sense in the context of playing a hand, but really, if we look at things like WPT, there's plenty of things in there that aren't really applicable "when they happen" such as "ace in the hole", so I don't necessarily think that would be a negative for me, personally.
