It's all based on what you like, and they all cater to different markets. I like my podcasts to have a lot of "in" jokes and things like that, and often times the content is secondary to are they just flat out entertaining me... and for me, Spooky in it's exact incarnation works.
Looking at the other podcasts that I listen to, I can stomach about two more "professional" ones, and I have about 10 more "fun", less professional ones that I have in my play rotation. I love pinball, but I don't need 10 podcasts on it. Silverball and Spooky are the two that I follow, and I used to follow the TOP Casts and the one that Lloyd sometimes sat in on too. TOPCast was enough "professional" style for me
Listen to what you enjoy, and if you don't love it, no one is forcing you to listen to it. My absolute favorite podcast that I've been listening to for nearly 8 years now spends at least half of the time talking about stuff that I don't have any care about, but it's so entertaining to me that I always listen to it first!
