It breaks down the legroom and overall quality of every single seat on every plane. Last time I flew, for less than $50 extra each way, I chose a seat that had a missing row in front of it. Which meant I had so much legroom I could not possibly reach the seat in front of me, no matter how far I stretched out. Plus I got the aisle so I had at least one open side. Best money I ever spent.
