Lionman!
Quoted from bangerjay:Tickets are up for sale on pinball life’s site(please note it’s $80)

I'm in you...
Quoted from MuddyMaeSuggins:Are the tickets REALLY physically mailed? Should I have them sent to the hotel, because I will be out of town starting a week before expo.... bangerjay
Yes, they should get to you rather quick
Hot tip for anyone attending for the first time: Drive like you're taking a drivers test around Jay's place - the local cops are super-dickish on a normal day, and I would assume the festivities will make them more so.
True dat.
I’ll also add that this is an adult party, not saying kids aren’t welcome, but neither Doug nor my self can watch our mouths or deeds
Agreed on the kid thing. Some of the events have large moving parts, not to mention moving limbs. Wouldn't trust my almost 4-year-old bumbling around there.
After one day of ticket sales, only 40 of the original 100 tickets are left to be sold. This event will sell out, so if you are thinking about attending I recommend getting tickets sooner than later. Space at the event is limited and overcrowding isn't such a good idea these days.
To clear up any questions about the tickets:
Physical tickets will be mailed the same day as purchased, or at the latest the next business day.
From the Pinball Life website:
Entry cost is $80. Purchasing this $20 ticket from our <Pinball Life> website serves as an advance payment of the total amount due.
You will receive physical ticket(s) in the mail. You will need to present this ticket at the event upon arrival. The outstanding $60 due will need to be paid at that time.
And to avoid an further confusion; this event is being held in McHenry at the Garage Mahal, not in Huntley at Pinball Life. PBL is simply facilitating the advance sale of tickets for Jay (Pinball Olympics).
Terry.

Thanks for the heads up, just purchased my ticket

I will be swearing, you’ve all been warned.
I just purchased my ticket. I am hoping we can have a carpool system to go to the event or I can get a ride with someone. I have never been to Pinball Olympics, but it sounds like something that is unique that you won't find anywhere else. What is the exact address of the event? Or will that be mailed with the ticket?

Would love to fucking be there. Most fun I’ve ever had playing pinball.

Carpools are recommended as space on my street can be tight
You’ll get the address with the ticket
Tickets secured. We’ll have to figure out a way from Expo there. Maybe we pool some Uber XL’s and split the cost. Either way, had to be there.

You will be missed.

The orgy just won’t be the same without the silver bullet
Quoted from shakethatmachine:That looks awesome! Where can I get mine?
You can get the patch from swearwear.co and sew it on any type of clothing you think might improve your chances of winning. I already feel like a winner with these awesome wristbands!

Went to Expo for the first time in 2019 and missed this event then - so we are in this time, just bought our tickets!
Gonna be rattling out some guidelines on this thread as I think of them
Registration will start around 11:30, No Olympics games till 12
Probably no one inside till 11:30, I’m usually prepping right up till go time
2 tickets have just become available.
Had two people who could not make it last minute so we have put 2 tickets back up on the site - https://www.pinballlife.com/pinball-olympics-2021-ticket.html
Quoted from GuiitarMan:Will the 2021 Pinball Olympics be livestreamed anywhere this year?
I don’t think so
Quoted from PAPPYBALL:No BangerVision?...... wait, probably shouldn't google that.
Not a bad title, but if there’s anything, it won’t be from me

As long as an attendee has a physical ticket in hand to register, I don’t think Jay cares who it is attending.
Quoted from friscopinball:Hey there bangerjay and pinballlife, I just realized I was never sent a physical ticket but I have my order number. Should I contact someone to find out the location or ask another attendee?
Yeah find someone else going, I recommend carpooling.
