Money sent thank you Clay.
the 24 hour thing is a loose window. it's fine as long as i get an email from ya before say midnight tonight (8/4)
This is Epic!
Thanks Clay Donation sent! After all you've done to help us, and especially help me directly, I feel like I'll have to donate more soon!
I watch the Ninja on a regular basis. A LOT of repair info on his site. Worth every penny.
One of the best resources out there! I really appreciate all you do for the hobby, Clay.
One more lemming off the cliff here...
Maybe this old dog will learn a new trick or two...

Coast 2 Coast interview w/ Clay!
This was a great interview. I just listened to the whole thing.
Then I discovered the TOPCAST archive and now I'm listening to those!
It's been 3 days with no login/ID... Normal?
Edit: email went to my spam folder. All is well.
Proud Ninja member here. Also proud to own the DVD's, and was a donor to the VFW museum. I can say without a doubt that I would not have stayed in the hobby if it weren't for Clay's manuals and videos to help guide me through some complicated fixes over the years. He is methodical, meticulous, and great at explaining and simplifying not just the "hows" but the "whys." Not a lot of people can do that and we're lucky to have him. Please support his site and the VFW project.
PS: I thought the Ninja site itself was for sale and panicked for a second there
Picking up my 3rd pin tomorrow, so seemed like a perfect time to sign up.
Money sent and login obtained, super pumped!
I've bought most of the This Old Pinball DVDs from Marco in the last few months. Totally worth it.
I know it's only been 2 months since i ran the last 'sale', but the VFW museum needs some upgrades. So Running the PinballNinja.com sale once again for 24 hours. Details of the original sale (which apply now) are below. thanks!
This pinball repair site has over 825+posts on game specific repairs including over 300 videos on repairs. The table of contents lists game names by system, so other repairs of similar games can easily be found. New repairs are added, usually about one a week or so. Note the site has a gate keeper so it does require a user Id and password. Normally a donation of $20 or more gets an ID. But for the next 24 hours, take 15% off ($17 instead of $20 or more.) PayPal is the weapon of choice to email@example.com
thank you. all proceeds going into the VFW pinball museum, so it's going to a good cause. you will see what it has done at the upcoming spring pinball show.

For those of us that have not yet been to the VFW, could you say a bit more about when during the year the facility is open to the public?
The VFW facility is open twice a year (as of right now.) We are open Black Friday after Thanksgiving for a charity event (free entry, but must bring canned food goods for a local shelter), and our May pinball show. The May showcase this year is Friday May 15, Saturday May 16, and Sunday May 17. Will will have 250 games restored and ready for play. Details on the show are at http://www.vfwpinball.com
Our show is a lot different than the typical pinball show. That is, it's a full time facility. Though we like it when people bring games to the show, it's not how the show is largely populated with games. All the games are on site and restored to our level of quality (there's also a full time repair & parts shop, so repairs are done quickly and easily). In addition we sell a limited number of tickets, so that there is no overcrowding (no lines on the games.) Finally camping is available on the premise and there's also 24 hour areas where you can play pinball all night. This makes the playing experience much nicer than a typical pinball show. Because of this we feel our pinball show is one of the best in the country for the typical show goer.
I joined a while back, and I've really been enjoying the videos. I have been trying to learn how to repair and restore since buying my first machine less than one year ago (now I have 4). Thanks for taking the time to create these.
Great to see you're enjoying Pinside! Did you know Pinside is able to run thanks to donations from our visitors? Please donate to Pinside, support the site and get anext to your username to show for it! Donate to Pinside
