    Quoted from Bugsy:

I refuse to believe these are real prices.

Whether you believe or not. It is happening.

    Quoted from Bugsy:

Gotta be a money laundering scheme or something.

You are over thinking the ignorance of a lot of people with money and no idea what they are doing.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

But this awesome and hilarious auction really puts an exclamation point on things, moving my thinking towards one sad, inescapable conclusion:

    We really don’t matter.

    Always hard to realize.

A guy on RGP many years ago to figure a way of estimating RGP's importance in pinball. Amount of posters, amount of people who only read it, pinball for sale ads and on Ebay. He collected all kinds of data.

He came to the conclusion RGP was maybe 3% of pinball as we knew it.

Think of how many people avoid Pinside, or have never heard of it. It's an eye opener.

Trying to watch live but there is no audio from their website anyone else having this problem?

I refreshed it and sound came back.

So what was the final total take?

Not over yet. Today, and in two weeks three more days.

    Quoted from EJS:

Another impact is people operating games. Everyone in the country and world going to assume that little corner of the bar sits 100,000+ in equipment now.

The thought of perceived values on my equipment has crossed my mind. Not just burglary. But two big guys and a gun could grab a game or two and throw in a vehicle and go.

That was never a concern. But with so many stores ignoring shoplifters, it's a possibility.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I can only imagine what they’d pay to get it running.

Probably the same as anybody new to pinball buying a brand new machine.

They'll shell out $10K for a game but won't spend $10 to fix it.

    Quoted from null:

I highly regret paying so much for my machine but it's mine now (not gonna sell it, not like I could recoup much of the cost anyway!). And my sincere apologies for contributing to an already overinflated market. I did not do my research, and I paid for it.

Not a total loss. You have the games. You learned. And are part of the great community of pinball.

Welcome my friend and best wishes on your growing collection.
