I would call it rare, and I’d suggest you take lots of pictures for the IPDB!

Ce n'est pas rare… c'est du n'importe quoi comme en font parfois les Italiens !

Ce n'est pas la première fois que l'on voit circuler ce genre de chose, mais il faut le dire, c'est du bricolage… des soit-disants "Kit de transformation" fait de bric et de broc

Il semble qu'il y ait eu effectivement un kit "Movie" avec comme thème le cinéma. On ne sait d'ailleurs pas trop si c'est du Gottlieb transformé, ou du Bally, voir même du Zaccaria

Ce qui est sûr, c'est qu'a l'origine il y a bien eu une backglass parfaitement en accord avec le plateau.
On a ensuite vu des flippers "PINBALL", avec le même plateau, mais avec une backglass montrant un Kangourou boxeur !
Il semblerait, que cette backglass (où il est clairement imprimé le logo de BELL GAME) était destinée à un autre kit...qui n'a jamais vu le jour.
Bref, plutôt que de jeter les glaces, ils ont du essayer de les refourguer pour écouler les stocks de plateaux qu'ils avaient.

Mais franchement, un plateau sur le thème du cinéma, avec une backglass de Kangourou boxeur, ca le fait pas ! quel mauvais goût !

PS: needless to translate, it's not a rarity, it's just an assembly that is more of a DIY than a real production. Kangaroo boxer + movie playfield ... only Italians are able to see a coherence.

noflip95 is absolutely right.
This ain't a rarity at all. A german distributor, Alpha-Electronic, had 3 complete converted machines (2 of them were Buck Rogers with another Backbox-Insert to fit in the displays and 1 a Solar Ride before) of that kind and ca 5 NIB-kits in 1990. He got them when he bought a huge amount of games and parts from Switzerland.
