PM is the better TOM. Mine is a prototype with stainless steel siderails (like in the flyer) and some other differences.
A very nice machine.

Quoted from Axl:Does anyone know what the redemption rules for PM is?
What is the difference? I was thinking of burning them just to test.
Axl
You just need this Romset when you use a ticket dispenser.
My PM has a lighter purple than the others i already had and has stainless siderails and legs.
Main difference is the switch on the end of left ramp, where it goes to the hand. It is mounted on top and not a rollover switch.
There might be other differences as well, but i never checked side-by-side.
Take out the whole assembly is the easiest way.
First unscrew the light board, then you have easy access to the screws for the assembly. You can easily unplug the whole thing and put it out of the game.
Do you have a manual? See page 78. You have to remove part #5 and then you can easily replace the target.
Quoted from BMGfan:Thanks Tom! I was worried about the mounting points for the doors being different. But that pic confirms they are the same.
I have a right hand door in my plastics bin, but want to make a couple sets of doors for myself so I have them when they eventually break.
I just didn't want to have to disassemble the stage to confirm
I have some nice scans of the stage doors. Let me know if you need them.
Quoted from clarkey_:Hi all, new member from the UK. Recently picked up a complete project, in the process of stripping it all down. Has some water and sun damage. Looks like it may be one of the early ones so trying to get my head around differences between it and the later ones.
Sadly the playfield is pretty sun damaged so ideally looking for a NOS one, have been chatting to a couple of people in the US with them but they are having issues shipping to me in the uk. Does anyone know of any in europe or have one they would part with on here?
Thanks

Looks like an early one as the gate on the entrace of the hand is only on early ones.
On production models, there is a rollover switch.
